Thursday, October 5th
10.00 AM – 11.00 AM : Arrival at VST & Registration
11.00 AM – 12.00 AM : Meet and greet, secure bags, etc.
12.00 PM – 2.00 PM : Community worship and Lunch
2.00 PM – 5.00 PM : Experience a VST course
5.00 PM – 5.30 PM : Hotel Check-in (for those who are staying overnight)
5.30 PM – 7.00 PM : Welcome Dinner Reception
7.00 PM – TBA : Somerville Lecture/Music with Dr. Joni Sancken
All Our Griefs to Bear: Building Resilience through Faith Practices
Friday, October 6th
At 8.00 AM the explorers will have breakfast with some of the faculty, current students, alumni,
and staff. Then, we will be joining the Somerville lecture retreat with Dr. Joni Sancken (incl.
Lunch). After the retreat, we will have a quick school tour. Then, we will have an opportunity to
hear from some of VST Faculty who will share their teaching interests and wisdom. The day will
end with a catered dinner with some lovely music!
Saturday, October 7th
8.00 AM – 9.00 AM : Check out from hotel
9.00 AM – 11.00 AM : Continental breakfast at VST and words from VST President
11.00 AM – 11.30 AM : Formal wrap up and group picture
