Tree Walk for Lytton  Willband Creek Park              November 6th at 2:00 pm

The wildfire of June 30 devastated the town of Lytton. Homes and businesses were destroyed, and trees leveled in the inferno.

In order to help with the restoration of the natural environment around the town, the United Church Earth Stewards are holding a fundraising walkabout at Willband Creek Park on Saturday, Nov. 6 at 2:00 pm.

The walk, to be held rain or shine and curated by Steve Marsh of UFV, will take about an hour, during which time trees purchased by UCES and planted by the city will be identified. Members of UCES will be present to hand out donation forms to be dropped off or mailed in later.

To get to Willband Creek Park, take Hwy 11 and turn at Bateman Road. The large parking lot is on the right after the turn.
